As a Budapest based state-owned company, Neumann Nonprofit Ltd. works for raising the digitalisation level of Hungary so that each Hungarian citizen and enterprise can profit from increased digital competences. To this end, we support and implement key projects in this field initiated by the Hungarian Government. Currently we are directly involved in the implementation of two large flagship projects of the Hungarian Government - the Digital Welfare Programme and the INPUT Programme.
The aim of the Digital Welfare Programme is to raise interest of citizens with regards to infocommunication technologies and to Internet and to increase digital literacy in the inactive population and among elderly people in Hungary. The INPUT Programme aims at strengthening ICT startups, helping them enter foreign markets. To this end we make idea scouting, we provide consulting and mentoring services and we take promising ICT startups to major foreign events and contests.
Working intensely with a great number of citizens and businesses on a daily basis yields valid experience on challenges and practises related to awareness raising, training and education in the field of digitalisation.
With our experience we contribute to transnational cooperation projects fitting our profile. ACCELERATOR,
a winning project of the Danube Transnational Programme led by Szechenyi Venture Fund Management Ltd
engages in exploring and piloting acceleration programmes for an improved business support in the Danube region.
We have actively participated in the public stakeholder events to help formulate regional recommendations on how to
improve the Hungarian innovation ecosystem so that acceleration and other type of investment-readiness programmes can
be implemented smoothly in Hungary. Moreover, we have contributed to the final dissemination event of the project
by inviting ICT startups from our INPUT programme to talk about their experience.
The INNO PROVEMENT project implemented under the Interreg Europe Programme aims at translating Industry 4.0
to improved SME policy instruments targeting innovation.
On the invitation of the project’s lead partner, Ministry of Finance, Hungary, we are a member of the Hungarian stakeholder
group, and we share our Industry 4.0 related experience regularly with the project.
We are open to take part actively in future transnational cooperation and development projects to learn from and share experience with foreign partners.
